Review the new Lion King movie
The original Lion King was released in 1994 as the 32nd Disney animated feature film, it won two Academy awards and became an instant classic loved by the young and the old. Testers Keepers is looking for a Disney fan to review the new Lion King movie which will be released on July 19th.
The new Lion King movie follows the adventures of the young lion Simba and the heir of his father, Mufasa. Scar, the wicked uncle plots to take over the throne by luring father and son into a stampede of wilderbeests. Simba escapes but his father is killed. As an adult lion, Simba returns to the pride lands to take back his homeland from Scar with the help of his friends, Timon and Pumbaa.
The Jungle Book director Jon Favreau was handed the reins to deliver this new photorealistic computer animation and, to avoid any worries, it was confirmed early on that the remake will feature songs from the original animation, and albeit the story is mostly the same, there are things in the new version that are going to be new. Same with music, at least Hakuna Matata and Circle of Life are included from the original movie.
The trailer is the most-viewed Disney trailer debut ever after racking up a massive 224 million global views online in just 24 hours.
