It was my late birthday party and I had couple of my best friends coming over to my place.
To celebrate the occasion, I decided to open the bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label and let everyone taste it. We drank quite a few different types of whisky before but never Johnnie Walker. As soon as I opened it, I could smell the oakey and smokey fragrance coming out of the bottle.
I poured it to glasses so everybody could have a taste of it. I understood it was a scotch whisky and knew that all those types of whisky are made in a traditional way and they are really strong regarding taste and smell. After having a few sips, it was a bit too sharp and it was kind of biting our throats. We decided to add a bit of ice and water to it and then the taste of it changed. The whisky become smoother and easier to drink. It was going really nicely and easily through our throats.
We could discover a nut of vanilla, smoke and a very nice butterscotch finish on the nose. The whisky itself stayed for a long time on the pallet and gave a nice add on to the evening. As the time was moving forward, there was never enough of the Johnnie Walker and everybody enjoyed the taste of it.
I would say it was a very nice experience and the product is perfect for a cold and winter evenings just to drink it and relax in front of tv or to have it as a warm up drink after coming back from work on a very cold and freezing evening. I would also say that it is a kind of posh way to treat your guests as the bottle itself looks great comparing to other basic whiskeys you can find in a shop.
The Johnnie Walker gives you an unforgettable taste and helps you to keep the party smooth through the evening. It is a very well-balanced product that makes you want to have more and more of it. It has a shiny golden colour that makes you want to drink it once you look at the bottle. I would highly recommend the product to everyone that need a treatment and want to enjoy and have unusual time.
The whisky itself is a definitely the best liquid for men gatherings such as watching football on a TV along with your friends or just some help to put you down to bed and have a quick sleep. I must say I would buy another bottle of Johnnie Walker Black Label before Christmas to celebrate the festive period with my family and spend this time having one of the best whiskeys beside.
