I was delighted to receive the Amazon Burmont’s Speciality Ultimate Haribo Hamper containing an amazing array of 60 delightful mini packets of sweets. The parcel arrived quickly in a sturdy paper bag, carefully delivered by the courier driver. The box had no damage and would be perfect for a gift. It is well presented in tissue paper lining with an attractive sleeve.
These are ideal for young and older children, also not forgetting the adults. Perfect for Halloween treats for all the trick or treat visitors. I think they are ideal for children’s parties for use in games and for putting in party bags. I made some buns covered with chocolate and decorated with the fried eggs from the Starmix packets. These went down a treat at a recent children’s party. Due to the size and texture of the sweets I wouldn’t give them to very small children.
My grandson who is 21 loves the Goldbears which are little gummy bears in strawberry, raspberry, lemon, orange and pineapple flavours, very smooth, chewy and delicious. The green bear tastes of strawberry which really surprised me.
My favourites are the Starmix which have a great mix of fruit flavour gummy sweets with rings, bears, fried eggs which are soft, red hearts which taste of raspberry, a cola bottle which really tastes of cola. Other flavours are pineapple, orange and lemon. I found five fried eggs in one bag, but generally there is a good mix of sweets.
My husband loves the Tangfastics they remind him of sweets he used to have as a child. Giant Strawbs are strawberry shaped gummy sweets which really do taste of strawberries. These were my daughter’s favourite. I have certainly recommended Haribo sweet boxes to all of my friends and family because of the taste and price of the box which is such good value.
