Mystery Shopper sought to review Co-op Food
Co-op is a different kind of business, owned by individual members and other co-ops, not by big investors. The Co-op Food is widely recognised for its commitment to responsible and ethical trading and with over 4,000 shops in the UK you are never far away from one. Testers Keepers is looking for one mystery shopper who will receive £100 to spend at their chosen Co-op Food store.
All Co-op own brand health, beauty and household products are marked with an “Approved by BUAV” rabbit symbol to show that neither the product nor its ingredients have been tested on animals.
Co-op Food is championing Fairtrade in the UK; it is also the largest retailer of fairly traded wine and has the largest range of Fairtrade products in the country.
Co-op membership is free and comes with plenty of benefits. Every time you buy selected products and services from Co-op, including in the Co-op food stores and Co-op Electricals, you get five per cent back. You can spend the cashback on most things, not just own products. When shopping selected Co-op branded items, one per cent goes to local causes in your community, and you get to choose which cause gets your percentage.
It all started back in 1850, with the Co-op providing their customers clean and healthy produce during the time when food standards were not regulated and often very expensive. Today Co-op is proud of the convenience and great value they offer, in addition to their ethical trading standards.
